The All Important Theme
Fashion and style will once again be at the forefront of this years Goodwood, with the theme being the 'Swinging 60s'. So think Mary Quant, Twiggy and of course, Flower Power. Feel free to wear 40s and 50s styles, but for those looking to make a special effort, this is the year to celebrate the style of the 60s.
It's the Mini's 60th Birthday and to celebrate this there will be displays of coachbuilders Mini Cooper's that were once owned by the Beatles Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The Beatles’ manager, Brian Epstein, bought each of the Fab Four a Mini at the height of their fame in 1966, and had them customised by coachbuilders Radford and Hooper.
